Rackord

Support

Rackord is a workout logger for iPhone that remembers how every gym machine was set up for you (seat height, pin position, angle, notes, and photos), along with everything you lift.

Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone. Rackord has no accounts and no servers. Your workouts, machine setups, photos, and form-check videos never leave your device unless you explicitly share something yourself, like sending a template file or a form-check video through the share sheet. That also means the app works fine in a basement gym with no signal. The one exception is App Store checkout: picking a plan or starting your free trial needs a connection once — after that, everything runs offline.

How do I back up my data?

Two ways, both yours to control. Your normal iPhone backup (iCloud or computer) already includes Rackord's data. On top of that, Settings has an Export backup button that packages everything into a single .rackordbackup file you can save or send anywhere; opening that file in Rackord restores it. Rackord never backs anything up on its own.

What's inside a shared template file?

A .rackord file contains the template's structure only: its name, exercises, and set scheme. Your machine-setup photos and your logged history are never included, so sharing a template shares your plan, not your data.

What happens if I delete the app?

Deleting Rackord deletes its data from the device, as with any iPhone app that stores data locally. Your data is included in your normal iPhone backups (iCloud or computer), so restoring a backup restores Rackord too.

Which devices are supported?

Rackord is built for iPhone. There is no Android, web, or iPad version.
